On a hillside between Pommard to the north and Meursault to the south, and backed by the Chaignot mountain, the village of Volnay is surrounded by a vineyard whose wines have been exported since the 5th century. From its “Clos Elégance”, where charming Ambassadresses plant a few vines each year, the view over the vineyards is exceptional.
