Rue de l'Hôtel-Dieu, Place de la Halle, BP 40104, 21200 Beaune
Owned by the Hospices Civils de Beaune, this remarkably well-preserved heritage site was founded in 1443 thanks to the patronage of Nicolas Rolin, Chancellor to the Duke of Burgundy, and his last wife Guigone de Salins. Throughout 2025, we invite you to discover or rediscover the Hôtel-Dieu, whose programme of events on the theme of HUMANITY is a tribute to all those who have worked and continue to work with the sick, from the hospital sisters to our carers, from donors to benefactors. Workshops, themed tours and evening events invite you to share in the history of this centuries-old building.
