Looking for magic, sparkle and flavor? In Burgundy, Beaune and its villages offer you this gentle interlude. An intimate stay awaits you, with authentic encounters and a reunion with nature. Would you like to take an invigorating walk in Burgundy? Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered with warm, gourmet refreshments 😉

A trip to Burgundy starts with a tasting

Maison Bouchard Aîné & fils

Your stay begins with a tasting at Bouchard Aîné & Fils, an emblematic Beaune house. Nestled in an 18th-century townhouse, it offers an original sensory journey around Burgundy wines, where each step reveals the subtleties of their crus.

Continue with a visit to Domaine Chanson, located in a 15th-century bastide house. This place steeped in history invites you to savor exceptional wines in an authentic and refined setting.

Lunch and dinner breaks

For your meals during your stay, let yourself be seduced by some of Beaune’s not-to-be-missed addresses. Gastronomy is a second skin for Burgundians. For dinner, treat your taste buds to La Ciboulette, renowned for its fine cuisine combining local produce and creative inspiration. You’ll be greeted simply, kindly and discreetly by the owner. The dishes are simple but so good. The next day, what do you think of lunch at l’Écusson? It’s a meal without false notes, with discreet service and a very friendly welcome. For vegetarians, there’s a special gourmet menu where you’ll be told that everything here is perfect! And for a quick, efficient, good meal before hitting the road again if you’re only coming for 2 days, opt for the Monge. This not-to-be-missed brasserie is one of Beaune’s favorite haunts. Burgers, bourguignon, andouillette and daily specials are sure to satisfy your sweet tooth.

Hiking in Santenay

Between feasts, leave Beaune for a stroll along the Circuit des Crêtes in Santenay. The Burgundy countryside offers precious hours of serenity. The trail takes you through the rolling vineyards of Santenay. It’s one of the Côte de Beaune walks offering unrivalled views of the Climats de Bourgogne.

Afternoon shopping

Finally, round off your stay with an afternoon of gourmet shopping. Stop off at Fromagerie Hess, a temple of flavors where you can discover regional cheeses matured with passion. Then let yourself be tempted by the sweet treats at Mulot et Petitjean, masters of gingerbread since 1796, to take a bit of Burgundy home with you. And if you’re coming in early winter, around December 21, don’t forget your Christmas presents. This winter, Beaune promises you an authentic journey through heritage, gastronomy and nature, to be enjoyed without moderation.
