The Les Climats experience begins with a historical presentation of the Château de la Crée, founded in 1431 on the land of Nicolas Rolin (Chancellor to the Duke of Burgundy) and the cultural wealth of the village of Santenay (Gallo-Roman remains, monasteries, Montagne des Trois Croix...).
We then visit the 1.5-hectare Clos du Château vineyard, planted with Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes. Together, we'll talk about Burgundy classification and the importance of terroir through a reading of the landscape.
We'll talk about the specific characteristics of the Santenay appellation and Château de la Crée, not forgetting how to tend the vines.
Then it's time to descend into our 15th-century vaulted cellars. You can then enjoy 6 wines from the estate, including a Grand Cru, accompanied by amuse-bouches during a commented and interactive tasting session.
Weather permitting, the tasting can also take place in the Château's walled garden.
