CAN YOU RECOGNISE A PINOT NOIR FROM BURGUNDY? Pinot Noir, the emblematic grape variety of Burgundy, does not like to travel. Outside Burgundy, it only produces fine wines, in Champagne (but white sparkling wine) and ... in Germany.
