Around Beaune

Savigny Castle

This beautiful Burgundy mansion houses 3 formidable collections of vintage vehicles, including the unique Abarth collection. Collectors’ associations are welcome to display their vehicles in front of the château. Visits to the château, park and museums will delight enthusiasts of heritage and mechanics. Other services are also available:

Château du Clos de Vougeot

Recognized worldwide as one of the jewels in the crown of Burgundy’s vineyards, the Château du Clos de Vougeot is a beautiful, emblematic site between Dijon and Beaune, at the heart of the Route des Grands Crus de Bourgogne. The site is popular with rally drivers (Ferrari, 2CV, Alpine, etc.) and has a large capacity: Possibility of parking cars in the driveway leading to the château (approx. 40 spaces). Vehicle storage available. Other services available on request:

Château de Pommard

Founded in 1726, Château de Pommard is surrounded by the Clos Marey-Monge, a geological curiosity that produces exceptional wines. The Château is home to theÉcole V, a professional wine school staffed by professionals certified by the Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET). Château de Pommard offers tastings by prior arrangement. Currently under renovation, it can nevertheless offer parking spaces and magnificent photo angles.

Château Philippe le Hardi

Witness to two thousand years of Burgundy winegrowing history, Château Philippe le Hardi is a legendary building whose remarkable architecture and link to Burgundy’s winegrowing history set it apart from the rest. The estate covers almost 98 hectares of vines from Mercurey to Gevrey-Chambertin, offering an exceptional view. It’s the perfect place to immerse yourself in winegrowing, with visits to the cellars and wine tasting. Reception areas are available for lunches, cocktails and dinners. A 60-space parking lot is available on the Château grounds. Around 15 vehicles (depending on model) can park in the Château courtyard. Open Monday to Friday from late November to March, and Monday to Saturday from April to late November (except for special events and outside the harvest period).

Château de Meursault

The Domaine du Château de Meursault offers an exceptional setting for discovering Burgundy’s heritage and wines. Every day, the Château organizes wine tastings and tours of its cellars, dating from the 12th to 18th centuries. The estate is certified 100% organic, and the Château grounds are a pedestrian-only preserve. Parking is available at the gate on rue Charles Giraud.
