VAL-MONT

With its hamlets, Val-Mont is a village where life is good, situated in the Beaune-Arnay-le-Duc-Autun triangle. The 11th-century castle, now privately owned and set on a hilltop surrounded by a rampart, is a charming feature of the green hills leading to the Morvan. Val-Mont boasts the Château de Coraboeuf, built on the site of a 5th-century stronghold, which has undergone numerous transformations, testifying to the evolution of castle architecture over several centuries.
