BAUBIGNY

Located 13 km south-west of Beaune, this village, where the great natural scientist Théodore Monod loved to come to recharge his batteries, is divided between four hamlets. Baubigny, with its Gallo-Roman remains; Evelle, with its two châteaux and the archaeo-medieval site of Dracy; Orches, with its rosé wine and cliffs; and Bel Air, on the mythical Nationale 6.

For hiking

Do you love breathtaking panoramas? The Circuit des roches is for you. Its 14 km of hikes take you to incredible viewpoints over the Côte de Beaune and the villages of the Haute Côte. It will take you past the medieval village of Dracy, a village whose population was decimated in the 12th century by the plague.
