AtÉcole V, at Château de Pommard, pleasure flows from knowledge. Their aim is to facilitate access to wine education, through courses focusing on wine analysis and tasting techniques. Their mission is to educate wine enthusiasts around the world by sharing their knowledge.

What is WSET®?

London’s Wine and Spirit Education Trust (^WSET®) is a certification body. It offers internationally-recognized training in wine analysis and understanding to professionals and beginners alike.

4 levels of training are offered by ^WSET® certified schools. Each level is validated by an exam and a diploma enabling the student to move on to the next level.

Level 1: beginner = 1-day introduction to wines.
Level 2: for professionals and enthusiasts = 3 days to discover the world’s wines.
Level 3: for professionals and enthusiasts = 5 days to understand viticulture and winemaking.
Level 4*: for professional wine experts. Only in English = 23 days of training + 2h/day for 2 years. The training is validated by the Diploma.

*OnlyEsprits de vins in Mâcon offers training up to level 4 in Burgundy.
