Beaune offers its visitors many renowned events, such as the famous Hospices de Beaune Wine Auction, the Jazz & Wine Festival, the International Baroque Music Festival… During the festivals the town welcomes artists and celebrities, but also thousands of visitors from all over the world.

Burgundian winegrowers are renowned for their love of life and nature, and for the warm welcome they extend to the visitors; especially during the numerous wine festivals throughout the year. The wine celebrations are held in honour of Bacchus (the God of Wine) and Saint Vincent (the guardian saint of winegrowers). These occasions are a wonderful way for friends, visitors and wine lovers to enjoy the region’s wines.
